The chedipe is a strange and powerful vampiric creature from India. Late at night this creature sheds her clothes and rides a tiger into a home where she causes the inhabitants to fall into a deep, dreamless sleep. Her favorite victim is the head of the household. She drains his blood by sucking him dry through his big toe.
